These are very nice vintage plate made in England, and called Colonial. The scene is of a victorian setting. The color is brown on a cream color background. They are hand engraved, and made of ironstone. The scalloped edge has the laurel band next to it. On the back are the three pottery marks caused when they were made. This is not a flaw, but it dates them to an earlier time. They have some light surface scratches on the front and back. One has crazing on the front and back.
These date back to around 1962, and were made in Hanley, Stafforddshire, England.
This sale is for one plate. I will ship the two at 4 lbs after packing. The shipping for the two will be $ 11.37. You will recieve a discount of $ 2.00 if both are purchased. The shipping will be $ 11.37 + $ 14.98 = $ 26.35 with insurance $ 28.05. With a $ 2.00 discount = $26.05.

Measurements: They are 10 1/2" across x 7/8" high.
Actual weight before packing is 1 lb and 5.5 oz. It will ship at 2.8 lbs.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote. With added insurance your total will be $ 16.45.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsable for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down.

I am accepting Paypal,and Google check-out,also United States money orders, and personal checks for payment. These will have to be checked, and cleared which could take 2 days up to 2 weeks. I ship within two business days-- Monday through Friday.
I use USPS for shipping. Once an item is taken to my local post office it is in their hands to deliver it to you. Using Priority shipping it should arrive to you in about 3 to 4 days.
