Vintage 1938 Decorative Ensembles Crochet Doilies Patterns

Nearly 70-year-old crochet instruction booklet for making a large variety of those delicate lacy doilies your great-grandmother used to have covering her living room chairs, tables, and windows! Geared toward Depression era housewives, the patterns were used to dress up shabby furniture and "give your rooms a whole new lease on life!" They include intricate flower clusters, art deco stripes and geometric patterns, filet crochet figural designs, including a desert scene with camels and oasis palms, and exquisite laces designed to display with elegant glassware and china. Projects range from washcloths and potholders to curtains and tablerunners.

In very good condition with only age appropriate wear at the edges and a page or two with light fingerprints.
