Thomas' Eclectric Oil, Davenport NY - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Dr. Thomas' Eclectric Oil, with illustration of a cat in the box. Advertising on the back; manufactured by Foster, Milburn & Co., Buffalo, New York. Sold by Rowe & Donnelly Druggists, Davenport, NY. Measures 3-1/8 by 4-5/8 inches. Surface lightly worn and creased. Upper and lower corners of left side chipped off. Back yellowed and with small area of surface paper peeling.
Each item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
