The Large Natural Sea Sponge is the real thing, gathered from Florida’s Gulf Coast and shipped to you. Each sponge is thoroughly cleaned before shipping to remove the sand and shells from its pores. (Upon arrival, be sure to rinse the sponge again just to be sure.)
Sponges are simple organisms built to move water in and out of a series of canals in order to gather nutrients. This feature makes them excellent for human use because they do not retain contaminants. Water is easily flushed through the sponge to remove any gritty particles. These deep pores also enable a sponge to hold a tremendous amount of soapy water to lubricate the surface being washed.
Sea Sponges have been used for centuries for bathing people, and more recently, vehicles. The nonabrasive, absorbent qualities of the sponge make it excellent for safely cleansing the paint and glass without scratching or swirling. Natural Sea Sponges are superior to synthetic sponges because their soft, organic composition is safe on any surface. Plus, Sea Sponges are naturally resistant to abrasion so they last through many, many washes. |

- We prefer payments through PayPal we are not excepting google checkout at this time, which accepts Visa, Master Card,
Discover, American Express and eCheck. If outside the United States we ask that
payments be made through PayPal. We do accept Checks or Money Orders, however
please allow an additional 7 to 10 days for shipping. We do NOT accept foreign
money orders due to the bank fees imposed. Shipping charges are not refundable.

- We charge actual weight for PRIORITY MAIL (no "handling fee"), so combined
shipping will save you money.
- First Class US Mail is available for items totaling less that 13 ounces.

- We STRONGLY Recommend Shipping Insurance on these fragile items!
Insurance for US Shipping is $1.65 up to $50 and $2.05 for $50 to
$100; $2.45 for $100-$200 and $4.60 for $200-$300. Each $100 over this is an
additional $.90 per $100. |

Items do not meet advertised description-
If a suitable
replacement cannot be made, we will cheerfully refund your purchase price and
shipping costs for items returned in their original condition - within 10 days
of purchase.
- All items sold at Shell World are in stock at the time of purchase. Due
to the fragile nature of our products, on a rare occasion, a piece may become
damaged. If this happens, we will contact you immediately to make arrangements
for a substitute or a full refund.
