This covered candy box is a gorgeous example of etched elegant glass from the depression era! Manufactured by Paden City Glass Co. in the 1930's, this is the #411 Mrs. B blank in yellow, with the Gothic Garden etching on the lid. The candy box measures 6.5" across and 4" high. The etched lid is in mint condition. The bottom piece has several flea bites on the inner lip that can be felt but are difficult to see. All in all, a difficult piece to find in very good condition. With its baskets, birds, and garden setting, this truly is a gorgeous set! If you collect candy boxes from the depression era, please see our other sets in our store.
