Pacific Triton Facts...Uncharacteristically for gastropods, tritons are not hermaphrodites. They have two distinct sexes. Adult tritons are carnivores and actively hunt mollusks and starfish.
Giant tritons can kill and digest crown-of-thorns starfish (a large species up to 3 feet in diameter and covered in poisonous spikes an inch long).
Tritons grip its prey with its muscular foot and uses its toothy radula (a serrated, cutting organ) to saw through its prey's skin.

payments be made through PayPal. We do accept Checks or Money Orders, however
please allow an additional 7 to 10 days for shipping. We do NOT accept foreign

- We charge actual weight for PRIORITY MAIL (no "handling fee"), so combined

Insurance for US Shipping is $1.65 up to $50 and $2.05 for $50 to
$100; $2.45 for $100-$200 and $4.60 for $200-$300. Each $100 over this is an

Items do not meet advertised description-
If a suitable
replacement cannot be made, we will cheerfully refund your purchase price and
shipping costs for items returned in their original condition - within 10 days

- All items sold at Shell World are in stock at the time of purchase. Due
to the fragile nature of our products, on a rare occasion, a piece may become
damaged. If this happens, we will contact you immediately to make arrangements
