THIS IS NOT A DVD!!! This is a two laser disc set with both discs appearing to be in excellent condition previously owned by a neighbor that has moved (look for several other discs in my store). The cover is in excellent condition with original plastic protecting it.

Movie Description:::
A middle-aged spinster (Jane Fonda) decides to escape her cloistered New England life by taking a job as a governess in Mexico. There she falls in love with a passionate young general fighting in Pancho Villa's army, while at the same time finding herself drawn to a mysterious, aging American man. The American turns out to be the journalist Ambrose Bierce (Gregory Peck), who disappeared in Mexico in 1913. The three characters become enmeshed in a love triangle that plays itself out against the dramatic backdrop of the Mexican Revolution. Based on Carlos Fuentes' novel.
Synopsis:::
A spinster American schoolteacher travels to a hacienda in Mexico to teach the children of a wealthy landowner and to find a new life across the frontier. What she finds is a general in Pancho Villa's Revolutionary Army who is also the bastard son of the landowner, and the landowner, himself, a journalist on a quest for adventure and death.
This is a wide screen version with a dolby surround sound track and the film is rated "R", 1990.
