"Out Shopping" depicts charming young girl all dressed up and looking exhausted from the joys of shopping. "Try Mystic White Soap and the new mode of washing, It is the Great flannel soap." Back has advertising: "Boys and Girls, ... save the wrappers. For sale by W.T. Beaumont, Dealer in Choice Family Groceries." Measures 2-3/4 by 4-1/4 inches. Top left corner creased; pencilled notes on back.
This item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
