Vintage Mortimer Snerd tin wind-up toy. Made in 1939 by Louis Marx Company. 8 ½ inches. Mortimer Snerd was Charlie McCarthy's goofy 'country cousin' side kick from Snerdville.
Brightly dressed in blue and yellow checked suit, red tie, and yellow shoes. He is carrying a bouquet of flowers and box of candy for his sweetheart making this a perfect gift for your sweetheart this Valentines Day.
Conditon: C-7. Operational but mechanism sticky, but could be restored. Minor paint wear and rust on back. Still very cool and priced to sell. |
