A Merry Christmas & Happy New Year - Set of 2 Antique Lithographed Victorian Holiday Greeting Cards. Flowers with greetings; reverse sides are blank. Each card measures 3-1/4 by 1-1/2 inches. New Year card copyright 1876 by L. Prang [Boston]. Light glue residue marks, and 1 small area of surface paper peeling on backs.
Each item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
