PUBLISHING CO., 1947

VERY
GOOD BOOK IN GOOD+ DUST JACKET.
THE
VOLUME: Very clean book inside
and out. Sturdy and tight. Virtually no edge wear. Lower front
board corner is bumped. Others still sharp. Small bookseller
sticker on inside of rear board. Former owner wrote “Potter &
Porcelain Marks” in slender felt-tipped pen on lower edge of
the textblock—not noticeable on the shelf or when reading of
course.
THE
DUST JACKET: . Please let the
photo be your guide. A few scrapes, some edge wear, one 2”long
triangular closed tear on the front panel, which is nicely
closed and not that noticeable.
THE
PUBLISHERS: “With this first American edition of
the Charffers Handbook, the publishers feel that they are
filling a needed want in giving to the ceramic collecting public
a handy reference guide easily carried about and available for
on-the-spot identification of marks and monograms.”
