Offered today from my collection of vintage Japanese comics is a very rare first edition copy of First Step The Fighting Vol. 23 from 1994, dated 6/17/94. Written & illustrated by Joji Morikawa. A very popular comic in Japan and it tells the story of a young man who dreams of becoming a world class boxer & his trials & tribulations obtaining this goal. This comic is in Japanese & would be a great way to study the language while enjoying the fantastic art work inside. Japanese Manga artists are some of the best & they are highly sought out by collectors! There are 179 pages in this comic. It is used but in very good condition, with no torn or missing pages. There is some slight sun bleaching around outer edges, which is to be expected for a 15 year old comic.
