Joy to the World - Victorian Easter Card. Woman surrounded by fluttering doves in front of Gothic arches, with bird and floral designs on the back. Golden border and highlights. Light surface wear, 3 pinholes, and top right corner lightly creased. Light glue residue around the edges of the back side. Card measures 3-1/8 by 6-1/4 inches.
Each item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
