Jos. A. Bromley, New Haven, Connecticut. Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Cards. A lot of 2 cards with attractive landscapes, one tropical and one rural. Each card measures 4-1/4 by 2-5/8 inches. Reverse is blank. One card missing lower left corner. The other card has a short tear along the top edge and top right corner is chipped. Both have some glue residue and light surface paper peeling on the back.
This item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
