THE
VOLUME: This copy is in VERY GOOD condition. Predominantly very bright
and clean copy inside and out. Paste-Down Illustration on Cover
in very nice condition. Tight and square with hinges intact.
Light to moderate edge wear in most places with more wear at
board corners and spine ends. No writing or other marks or
inscriptions. The upper textblock shows evidence of having been
bumped from 3rd end paper through the first text
page, causing light creasing and minute edge tears to two pages.

THE
DUSTJACKET: A FACSIMILE
copy of the Howard Chandler Christy dust jacket,
which sold with this edition, made from a scan of an original in
very good condition from my own collection, printed on one sheet
of acid-free paper by an archival inkjet printer (80 yr. inks),
and preserved in archival plastic. This jacket has blank flaps
as issued. Many of the very earliest jackets had blank flaps.
