Instinct encompasses fear on a whole new level - you don't just experience it yourself, but through the eyes of three different playable characters whose fates' coincide. They are members of an elite American military squad specializing in covert ops and complete annihilation in enemy territory. Their relationships are torn apart and fade away as the three are separated to face Korea's own special ops forces alone.
The Korean government has been experimenting with a new protovirus capable of decaying the mind while strengthening the body - a new form of warfare. When the virus backfires and is unleashed on the complex you were assigned to infiltrate and secure, all hell breaks loose and hope is lost. There is danger and mystery around every corner and any mistake could bring corruption or death.
