This item is a booklet, from 1949, sent to a "Radio Listener" to encourage the sale of Galen Drake's book: "THIS IS GALEN DRAKE". The booklet's name is: "as I was saying", and the material from within it has been reprinted from the book. Also included is the marketing letter from Galen Drake with his signature on it.
The inside cover reads:
"Here is a generous slice of all that has gone into Galen Drake's phenomenally successful programs.
It is a grab bag of truths and trifles, anecdotes and curious facts told in Galen's own salty, elbows-on-the-table style."
The booklet measures about 5-3/8" x 7-3/4", and has 28 pages.
As you may see with the pictures, there is also an old ad for Pillsbury's Best on the inside back cover. This item is in Good Condition, other than the two small tears at the top and bottom left side. |
