In 1894 the modern Fukagawa company was founded in Arita by Chuji Fukagawa, with the Fukagawa trade mark of Mount Fuji and a stream, as its trade mark. The Fukagawa company has served as purveyor for the Japanese Imperial Household since 1910 and only produces white true high temperature porcelain.

While I prefer Paypal (credit card or echeck), I also accept personal and cashier checks and Money Orders. Normally I ship on the next business day after receipt of confirmed funds and an address.
All shipping will be by priority mail. There are no extra charges or fees. We take great care in packing our merchandise and have had very few problems. If there is breakage on items under $50.00, I will refund your merchandise price. To protect myself against the many scammers I do ask that you email or send me a photo of the broken item. Just like the Post Office I will not reimburse you for shipping charges. I will insure all boxes with a total purchase price of over $50.00 and pay the insurance cost myself.
