Eagle Condensed Milk - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Cute print on lightly textured card - the baby has fallen asleep, and the puppy has stolen the baby's bottle! Advertising on the back: "New York Condensed Milk Co. ... As a food for infants, it has no equal." Card measures 3-3/8 by 4-1/2 inches, trimmed at the top edge. Light surface and edge wear; bottom right corner chipped. Back is yellowed and there are small areas of surface paper peeling.
Each item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
