Welcome to Evening Shade, Arkansas! This little cookbook started off on a small scale and erupted into a full-blown community fundraiser! It contains a B&W photograph of the cast of the television series "Evening Shade" and offers a few celebrity recipes like Burt Reynolds' Beef Stew, Linda Bloodworth-Thomason's Egg Nog and the late Ossie Davis' contribution of "I'm an eater, not a cook; my skills do not come into play until the dinner bell rings. My only recipe is how to kiss the chef when the meal is over."
