Thick, 20 gauge, 100% brass make this Spartan, Grecian helmet real armor. The 9 inch plume is made of all natural horse hair and stretches 90 degrees across the helm. A ridge separates the two, providing strength in design. Across the back of the Spartan, Grecian helmet is a lip that provides protection to the neck.
The nice polished surface is very shiny and exquisite. This unit would make a beautiful display piece with a collection. However, the soft leather suspension liner inside the helmet makes it very comfortable and natural to wear. An adjustable leather chin strap secures the helmet to fit all adults.
