Casler French Dress, Boston, Massachusetts - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. "Mrs. A.C. Casler, French Dress Plaiting, Shirring, Pinking & Fringing." Floral design with artist's palette and brushes. Reverse is blank but has handwritten note in pencil for "Mrs. Coyle on Cumberland St." Card measures 3-3/4 by 2-5/8 inches. Light surface wear; slight glue residue on the back.
Each item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
