Black Cat Metal Iron Rack Holder Boot Stand WhatIsIt?

| This ad is for this WHAT IS IT? It's some sort of rack or stand or holder for something - any ideas? It's definitely iron and a black cat! I just don't know what it's used for. I found it at the thrift store, and well, it's a CAT, so I had to have it of course. Now I think someone else should enjoy it for a while, or at least tell me what it is for. I thought maybe it held paper towels - no - not enough space between the prongs to hold a full roll. Not enough space either to hold rolls of toilet paper! The closest guess I have is a boot stand - turn them upside down over the two prongs on each side to let them dry out?? Sounds reasonable anyway. Here is the dimensions: 14 3/4 inches long; 19 inches tall; bottom flat piece is 1 3/4 inches wide. Whatever it is, it'd be a Great addition to your collection!
