Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry

(OP) 65-70 days. Originating in Poland, this ground cherry has the cleanest flavor of all the ground cherries we've grown, very sweet and fruity. Turns a golden orange color and drops to the ground when ripe. Has the same kind of papery husk as a tomatillo, but it's tiny. Use as you would any sweet fruit. Makes a tasty jam, perfect for gift giving. An unusual and rewarding addition to fruit salads and smoothies. Absolutely fantastic fruity taste. Slow to germinate and slow in early growth. Will store up to 3 months in the husk.

All packs of tomato seeds are weighed to 0.1 gram contain 25 - 40 seeds, about double a store pack. I'm usually quite generous in filling the packs.

Shipping is $3.50 for up to 10 packs.

Get your seeds NOW. Tomatoes need to be started 4-6 weeks before you want to plant them out.

I DO save ALL tomato varieties myself. If the listed variety is a hybrid, what I sell is not the F-1 but is what I've saved from grow-outs and will be as close to the original as possible. Often I can see absolutely NO segregating from the grow-outs at all.

This is the same seed that I use for my market garden business. In the spring we sell plants for at least 100 varieties of tomatoes at the Farmer's Markets. We also plant out a good selection of the varieties for fresh tomatoes later at the markets. All my varieties have some specific great trait or 2 that makes them good varieties to grow.

I ship primarily to USA and Canada. I have sent a few things to UK. I can no longer send seeds to Australia due to their changes of import laws.  If you know there is no problem importing "seeds" to your country, I will send them at your risk of losing them at customs. I do NOT have the ability to get a "phytosanitary certificate" if your country requires it. Email me for S&H cost.
