This is an aerial view of a little community in Upstate New York, situated on the St. Lawrence River, 1 1/2 miles across from the Canadian border.
Oak Point is a Hamlet of Hammond, New York. Many years ago it was generally a summer getaway. In recent years, homes have been converted to year round residences and new homes have replaced farm acreage.
The little dots on the water are boats (not marks), someone actually lives on that island in the photo, card is in nice condition with only minor edge bumps. Dated 1996.
