about me:	The Coo Coo Nest was started as a matter of need. Zeus, Diva and Rio, my 2 cockatoos and African grey, was destroying their toys as fast as I could buy them. That’s why I decided I could make their toys, a little different than what was currently available, but that would still hold my bird’s attention. Their enthusiastic approval of my toys made me make more and more for all my birds. I have everything from parrotlets to my 2 cockatoos. So in April of 2008, The Coo Coo Nest was created. My toys are made in a smoke-free environment and with only bird safe materials. I would create a toy and give it to one of my toy testers to see what they liked and disliked about each toy. I would add or certain features of that toy. So the toy you see today, are made from their endorsement.

The most significant feature of any bird toy is made by the human parent. Always trim unraveled rope ends or removing any damaged pieces of a toy. Trim sharp toenails to keep your bird from getting hurt by getting his foot hung on a toy. Your bird’s toys should be cleaned often. All of my toys can be easily cleaned by using warm soap and water.

All of my toys are handmade and therefore each toy may vary slightly. I change colors on a regular basis to keep my toys from getting boring. I am always finding ways to improve all of my toys and if I can find a way to make my toys more exciting for your bird…. Then I do it! My toys are made for your birdie by a huge bird lover.

As you can tell, i have shops everywhere trying to make an honest living.
