Hi,Thank You for looking at our about me page. We opened a resale shop in 1985 and began selling antiques,collectibles and general household goods. We soon found out in our small town that it would not make us a living with just having the store. I started moving people,I worked for an auction company for 13 years and have done anything to stay alive. After having an auto accident and the fact that I can't do what I did before I started selling on the computer. Its been a rocky road because I can't see listing these items for $ 5.00 when I paid $50.00 for it like some people that I know. We list items for the least we can take and still make a few dollars. We take into account that people have to pay postage and insurance on these items. We pack the best we can and have a good track record for the items getting to you in one piece.

We charge only postage and insurance,never a handling charge! We don't wrap these items until they are bid on or bought because if they don't sell on here we take them to one of our antique mall booths or the store. Because these items are not wrapped prior to being sold its hard to tell anyone what it costs to ship. When people put a total for the shipping and handling they use a zip code that is very far away from them and they have to add on a few dollars to cover themselves so they don't lose money on the shipping. I don't like doing that because I believe you should only have to pay actual postage and insurance. If I did that a person that was in St. Louis Mo. which is 50 miles away from me would have to pay way to much for the for the postage. We want everyone to be happy with us and the item that they buy from us. If you buy an item and when you get it you have a problem just email us and we can work it out.
