Hutschenreuther Bavaria porcelain dessert plate, hard-to-find size -- 6.25 inches in diameter, white decorated with dark pink to purple rose swags hanging from gold scrolls against an art deco geometric black, white, and turquoise edging.Rimmed in gold. A classical European 3-point design with just the right balance of natural and formal elements, equally at home amid modern and traditional decor.Marked on the back with a green Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria lion stamp, and a black number 19. Purchased at an estate sale, estimated to be at least 50 years old.
In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Very little gold wear and no damage or flaws on the surface. Four of of these plates are currently available, and the set can be purchased for $25 (which includes U.S. priority shipping).
