Offered today from my collection of vintage Japanese comics is a very rare original copy of Video Girl Ai Vol. 2 from 1990, 5th reprint dated 12/15/90. The first edition was printed 9/15/90. Written & illustrated by Masakazu Katsura. Video Girl Ai is a very popular comic in Japan, and it tells the tale of a young Japanese teenager who is obsessed with a girl video star, so much so that she comes out of the TV into his room, much to his shock. The girl`s video character enters the real world & is innocent of the ways of the world, & the young man teachs her how to interact with others. A very interesting comic which is a little sexy, but in a tasteful way! It is in Japanese & would be a great way to study the language while enjoying the fantastic art work inside. Japanese Manga artists are some of the best & are highly sought out by collectors! There are 195 pages in this comic and it is used but in very good condition, with no torn or missing pages. There is some slight sun bleaching around outer edges, which is to be expected for a 19 year old comic.
