Universal Wringer Hall Springfield Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. A country couple walking in a field; advertising on the back with an illustration of the washer wringer. Retailer Charles Hall, Springfield, Massachusetts. Card measures 4-1/4 by 2-7/8 inches. Light surface wear and chipped corners; back has some yellowing from glue residue.
Each item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
