James Pyle's Pearline - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Charming illustration of a girl gathering wildflowers. Advertising on back for James Pyle, New York, Washing Compound. Slight surface and edge wear; back lightly yellowed. Measures 2-1/2 by 4 inches.
Each item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
