Description:

This ACEO card is titled "Midnight in the Garden of Dragonflies" and depicts a Black Maneki Neko Lucky Cat with paw raised, in a sunflower garden with dragonflies with the full moon shining in the sky. This card was created from an original mixed media print of the same title, prints used for ACEO cards remain in my permanent collection.

Card information is printed on the back of the card, along with the title of the piece and date it was created. They are hand signed "DS Irvin" which is how I sign my original prints & artwork and are hand numbered - This is card #9. The description for this artwork reads: "No evil spirits are allowed in this magical garden where colorful dragonflies spritely fly through the night sky. This black lucky Neko makes sure of that, with paw raised he keeps this garden safe and out of harm's way. The full moon looks down from overhead and its light is softly reflected in the small pool."

This ACEO (which stands for Art Cards, Editions & Originals) measures the standard 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is laminated. These cards are in no way mass produced, they are printed, hand trimmed, and laminated by myself in small numbers. This card is an Open Edition. I choose to laminate cards which are prints and don't include any hand enhancing or painting as it makes them far more durable, increasing their longevity, and enriches the colors. The ghosted watermark does not appear on the actual print.
