Maneki Neko Lucky Pirate Cat with Treasure Chest ACEO Print

This print is from an original watercolor I did titled "Roguish Good Fortune on the High Seas."
Most of my cards come with a small story, written at the time the original artwork is created. This is printed on the backs of the cards, along with the title of the piece and date it was created. They are hand signed "DS Irvin" which is how I sign my original prints and artwork and are hand numbered. This is #4. The story for this artwork reads: " 'Arrrr, this swashbuckling Neko with a gold fang may have a different sort of good luck to bring. He's recovered a long sought after treasure chest filled with gold bits and is ecstatic to have discovered that upon opening it gold pieces are falling from the sky! How lucky is that? Time to set sail for port to enjoy some good times."
This open edition ACEO (which stands for Art Cards, Editions & Originals) measures the standard 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is laminated. I choose to laminate cards which are prints and don't include any hand enhancing or painting as it makes them far more durable, increasing their longevity, and enriches the colors.
This card was printed with a color laser printer on acid free cover stock. My ACEO cards are in no way mass produced, I print, laminate, and hand cut each one in my studio. The ghosted watermark does not appear on the actual print.
