Condition and description: Very good condition with some light cover wear. Some tanning to inside covers from age. Pages are clean and binding is tight. Appears unused.
This is a nice vintage church cookbook, published 1968-79. Contains in ingredient subsitution page, equivalent measures, everyday herb guide, and a "What to Serve with Meat, Chicken, Fish, Cheese" section. A timetable for cooking meat is included, along with a page on how to cook seafood, ways to use leftovers, quick and easy snacks, 6 easy steps to the perfect pie. There is also dieting information, along with protein and caloric values of diet foods. Another page contains information on removing stains from washables, a perpetual calendar, first aid for poisoning and for household emergencies.
