Stephens College Boyfriend's Weekend 1964 Vintage ASHTRAY

Tucked away until now, this souvenir of a memorable college weekend in the early 1960s was produced by an old established Ohio pottery called the W C Bunting Company ("A Great Name in Pottery") of Wellsville, Ohio.
Creamy white glazed porcelain trimmed in gold, decorated with the school's insignia and motto "Deo et Veritati", Latin meaning "For God and for Truth", and titled "Boyfriend's Weekend", "1964".
Stephens College is an all women's school in Columbia, Missouri, known for its theater and fine arts programs. Famous alumni include Annie Potts ("Designing Women") and Dawn Wells ("Gilligan's Island").
Size: 5.25 inches in diameter.
This ashtray is in excellent vintage condition, with gold trim very much intact both in front and in the makers mark on the back. The only flaw is a tiny fleabite, barely visible and only from the back, at the 7 o'clock position in relation to the mark.
