Porcelier Vitrified Hand Decorated China Drip Coffee Maker, Colonial Hearth Pattern
Probably made some time during the 1930s or 40s (the company existed from 1927 until 1954), this charming coffeepot comes complete with porcelain drip insert and original label.
Cream colored heavy porcelain with nostalgic hand painted three-dimensional design showing a fireplace, pot over the hearth, spinning wheel, dishes and candles on the mantel, and cat warming itself nearby. The early American design is carried over into the shape of the coffeepot, with flat-topped handle, clapboard base, and rays from the donut shaped handle on the lid.
Pot is about 5 inches tall without the lid, and a little over 8 inches from handle to spout. With lid and insert, height is about 10 inches.
In excellent vintage condition with two tiny chips under the spout, and a glazed-over 1/8" chip on the inner rim of the drip insert. None of these surface irregularities are obvious, and this 3-piece set has great decorative potential. |

6-7 items 20% off
8+ items 25% off

Problems during checkout? Email me, or click on "contact seller" from within any of my BluJay ads to contact me.
If you change your mind on payment method and can't change the invoice, don't worry -- just let me know.
Stated shipping rates cover the cost of shipping across the country. I've learned from hard experience to use USPS Priority Mail for breakable items; otherwise the quote refers to the cheapest shipping method (usually, USPS Parcel Post, UPS Ground, or USPS Media Mail for books and videos). I will adjust your invoice to your area, usually in less than 24 hours of your order. If you are in a hurry and pay immediately without waiting for me to adjust your invoice, you'll receive the amount of your overpayment back, either as an online refund or tucked inside your package.
To request a different shipping method or add insurance, please let me know BEFORE YOU PAY. In general, media items (books, videos) are shipped via media mail (4-9 day delivery within the continental US, longer if "bumped" by the USPS) unless otherwise specified or requested in advance.
International buyers are WELCOME!! Please allow me to adjust your shipping fee on the invoice before you pay. Contact me and I'll be happy to provide you with a shipping quote.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE accompanies every item - contact me if you are not delighted with your purchase.
SALES are offered from time to time ... and you'll receive your discount in the form of a refund if you pay before I can adjust your invoice.
