The Long Island Catholic newspaper dated Thursday, November 28, 1963, covering the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The paper appears to be complete. There are two sections for a total of 24 pages.
It does not appear that this paper was saved with the intention of preserving it. There is yellowing, ragged edges, some small tears and a tear at the center of the spine. However, considering the age, it is still in good condition. Since Kennedy was the first Catholic President, the paper is especially interesting.
