Boys Camping Tent & Flag: Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Stock Trade Card. Charming illustration of 3 young boys out camping and playing, a tiny American flag flying, while they cook over an open fire. Initials in lower right corner of illustrator or publisher: JEB's. Reverse side is blank. Measures 3-3/4 by 2-1/4 inches. Light surface wear; back has light glue residue.
Each item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
