This is a mystery on the sea thriller by the authors of "Ghostboat," called, "Thin Air." Book was written by George E. Simpson and Neal R. Burger.
At the end of WWII, the men of the USS Sturman were ordered to join hands on the ship's deck, pawns in a top-secret Navy experiment. An alarm sounded and crewmen watched the ship sink beneath them and all disappeared. Now, more than 25-years later, a man wakes up from a nightmare about a cover-up, scientific breakthrough or something else.
