The Queen
Conch or Pink Conch (Strombus gigas, named by Linnaeus in 1758) is a gastropod, a
soft-bodied type of mollusk that is protected by a very hard shell. This
invertebrate (animal without a backbone) is found in warm shallow waters in
grassbeds of the Caribbean Sea.
Conchs are eaten by many animals, including
rays and people. The beautiful shell is also collected by people; the shell is
also used for jewelry and for conch trumpets. The Queen Conch is a relatively

Items do not meet advertised description-
If a suitable
replacement cannot be made, we will cheerfully refund your purchase price and
shipping costs for items returned in their original condition - within 10 days
of purchase.
- All items sold at Shell World are in stock at the time of purchase. Due
to the fragile nature of our products, on a rare occasion, a piece may become
damaged. If this happens, we will contact you immediately to make arrangements
for a substitute or a full refund.
