Vintage Lebanon Tapestry Rug Cat Cats Playing Velvet

| This ad is for this adorable vintage tapestry throw rug with five kitty cats playing scene. Done mostly in golds and browns, it has a bright blue color and touches of red. Measures 38 inches long and 19 inches wide. This is probably from the early 1940's. The label (almost off, but barely still attached) says it is made in Lebanon, and is part Rayon and part Cotton fabrics, and it has a velvet feel to the surface. The corners are slightly frayed and curved. I figure it was hung on a wall at some time by nails in the corners of the rug, just my guess. Otherwise, it appears to me to be in good condition. Great addition to your collection!
