Overview:Waterball  is one-of-a-kind technology that forms and launches balls of water. The ML 100 Waterball Launcher  is the compact, sport version that enables you to launch up to 100 balls of water per tank. Marble-sized waterballs travel from 6 to 20 feet.

Tips for Use:
1. Make sure that the Waterball Launcher™ is primed before use by pulling back the launch sled 10 to 15 times. This allows water to be present in all parts of the launcher.
2. There is a skill to launching Waterballs - hold the Waterball Launcher™ at a 45-degree angle, with the launch stabilizer held to your chest. Slowly pull back the launch sled, and when you feel resistance from the spring, flick the sled back. The actual distance varies depending on the angle of the launcher and your skill level. Practice makes perfect!

This plastic timepiece has a piratey skull and crossbones style to it and flips open not once, but twice with the touch of a button. It reveals a watch, a compass and a red screen for revealing secret codes. Unfortunately, the string that goes around your neck is clipped together by a flimsy plastic clip - the kind that falls apart super easy.

Pop in some batteries, turn it on and toss it to a friend before it blows! This fun toy is a talking game of hot potato that lights up so it's great for playing in the dark. It gets boring pretty quick, but it's perfect for party games, especially pirate parties! Arrr!

This monster of a squirt gun spits gobs of water around rather than firing a steady stream. The range is solid and the gobs are just the right size for torturing your neighbor's cat! Unfortunately, it leaks a bit and you have to crank back on a noisy handle for each shot. The noise is kinda cool, but it's an arm workout if you have to fend off an invasion of scurvy sea dogs and creepy undead without time to rest!

That I really don't like toys of weaponry is only half of what got my blood boiling this morning. Here's the other half: The toys are being pitched to children as young as 4-years-old.

Given the hype and excitement that continues to accompany the popularity of "Pirates of the Caribbean" (it's the rage even on the other side of the pond, I noticed on my vacation), I can just hear all the preschool boys clammoring for these toys. Believe me, I am sympathetic to their moms and dads; I wasn't immune to this kind of marketing when my son was young. But I learned that a boy with an imagination can have just as much fun pretending to be a pirate without owning toys that concidentally glamorize violence and cruelty.
