The pin is marked sterling on the back. There are some light scratches on the surface of the pin. They are not very noticeable in my opinion, and I dont think they detract from the beauty of the pin. I did not notice them until I held the pin under a bright light. However, there are some light scratches on the surface of the pin, so please take note of that. The pin is not signed

The hand stamping on this pin is amazing, in my opinion. I especially like the design right around the stone, but all of it is gorgeous. The size of the pin is approximately 1 and 12/16 inches across and approximately 1 and 9/16 of an inch tall. This is an exceptionally beautiful and charming piece, in my opinion.

This pin does have some very light natural tarnish on it, which looks very attractive. This is a striking, classy and elegant pin. This pin would make a great gift!
