| This listing is for a vintage Fossil brand bag, or purse. I believe this bag is from the 80’s. This seems like a well made bag, with very nice, thick, good quality leather. The overall color of the bag is darker than it is showing on my monitor. There are some markings in the leather of the bag, as is normally seen in leather. The marks look as if they were there when the bag was made.
However, the leather of the bag looks as if it has been darkened in some areas; through age or through use. The top area of the front of the bag looks slightly darker than the rest of the bag. At one side of the purse, towards the bottom there is some darker areas, where the leather is darker colored. Also, the bag is dirty, or soiled in some areas. The dirty or soiled areas that are noticeable to me, are along the edges of the two front compartments, and at the bottom edges of the bag, front and back. The top corners of the bag, front and back are dirty or soiled. The most dirty or soiled area is at the bottom of the bag. The bottom of the bag is darker in some areas than the rest of the bag, as can be seen in the photograph. I don’t know if these areas can be cleaned, so please take note of this and do not bid if it is a concern. The leather of the purse could always be turned a darker color with shoe polish, of course, to camouflage the darkened areas. Please take note of these flaws and do not bid if they are a concern.
Despite these flaws, this is a very attractive bag, in my opinion. The bag has the ‘Fossil’ key hanging off of the front zippered compartment. Below the zippered compartment, is another compartment that snaps shut. Inside the bag, there is a small zippered compartment against the side of the bag. There is a center zippered compartment. There is a Fossil creed below the side zippered compartment, which is photographed in the listing. The creed number is 75082. The creed says the bag is leather, and is handcrafted from the finest top grain leather available. The inside of the bag is clean, with no pen or other markings. The bag has a long shoulder strap, which has a buckle and can be adjusted. The approximate measurements of the bag are approximately10.5 inches tall, and approximately 9 inches tall. The bag is deep; at the bottom of the bag, it measures approximately 4 inches across.
