Detailed molding and colorful Stroh family crest and historical vignette in raised relief on this limited edition stein advertising the Stroh Brewery Company, made in Brazil by Ceramarte Co. Three large framed ovals in design: 1) illustration of horses and wagon in front of Stroh brewery; 2) lion shield with words "Stroh's America's only fire-brewed beer", and 3) laurel wreath surrounding the motto "Our family's 200 year brewing heritage assures you of consistantly (SIC) superior quality beer."
Note the misspelling of "consistently", which apparently occurred on only some mugs in this limited series. Bottom reads "This exclusive stein manufactured by Ceramarte Brazil for the Stroh Brewery Co." and stamped in gold with the issue # 08144. A sure-to-please gift for the collector!Dimensions: 7.5 inches tall, opening is 2.5 inches in diameter, width to edge of handle is approximately 5.5 inches. Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. |
