ABOUT ZEITGUYS MUSIC:PLEAZE READWe cannot play every tape or album or CD through,as there are far too many items and there is 35 years of music stored here. Most were acquired by ZEITGUYS new and were never disposed of. Some were left by tenants who moved from apartments or homes and left behind over the years. Albums are visually inspected and covers and lp's condition noted.8-Tracks are popped into player,tracks advanced through and disposed of if a problem is found.We cannot spend a huge amount of time LISTENING COMPLETELY to low ticket music items.We are aware that needles set themselves to LP's and what may play smoothly on one "home" turntable may hiss or pop when played on another.This is the nature of the beast.Over the years I have had numerous 8-tracks "eaten" by my machines.They are discarded when it happens and no attempt is made to rewind and straighten it out. All 8-tracks are prone to this and if you purchase a tape and YOUR machine "eats it",I can not accept responsibility for out-dated technology. I find vinyl fun to collect for cover art and nostalgia value,I have an 8-track in a vintage car I own from my high school years and like to listen to 8-tracks when I occassionally "buzz de av" or "cruise Frisch's Big Boy"We strive to always sell usable,fun music for either listening or as atmospheric props for a period decor.We,however,cannot guarantee that what is an aceptable USABLE item to us,will meet your standards.Because of the nature of the beast,we do not accept returns.
