Vintage, versatile, durable, and attractive brown and white stoneware covered bowl, "married" to a matching underplate. Warm dark brown matte glaze on the outside, creamy white on the inside. Clean, simple lines and practicality that never go out of style!Bowl stands about 4 inches tall, and is 3.25" across the top. Plate is 7.5" in diameter. Use for snacks and dip, as a mayonnaise, sauce, soft butter, fruit and sugar, or marmalade server -- you decide! Bowl is marked on the underside Japan with a butterfly and the number 4111.
