Still beautiful after all these years, this antique 1920-1930 bowl was produced by Limoges USA, of Sebring Ohio.Lightly scalloped 12-sided shape, rimmed in gold, then ringed with a slim red line inspired by the art deco movement. Two copies of a single motif - pink rose against a black background surrounded with yellow-gold flourishes and jade green leaves - adorn two of the sides; a white background contrasts strikingly with these designs. Dimensions: 7.5 inches in diameter, 1.5 inches deep.
Condition: In excellent condition -- some colorless utensil marks indicating very little use, no chips, cracks, or crazing. Very little gold wear, no wear to the rose designs.
